About Brian Jones
I’m the founding Senior Pastor of Christ’s Church of the Valley, a church that grew grown from 0 to 2,000+ amazing people in the northwest suburbs of Philadelphia. We’re a church built on converts, 2,300 so far in fact. Our vision is to transform the Philadelphia metro area by growing beyond 5,000 and planting 20 campuses throughout the region.
Before starting this church, I planted a church in Ohio that took off like a rocket and soared from 150 to 150 in four years. 🙂 Before that I was on staff at churches of 300 and 600. And while going through school I preached on the weekends at rural churches of 25 and 50. Simply put, wherever you are, chances are I’ve been there and coached dozens of people just like you through it.
A few other things you might want to know: I’m a graduate of Cincinnati Christian University (B.A.) and Princeton Theological Seminary (M.Div.). I’m the author of four books. I just released my latest book through InterVarsityPress called Finding Favor: God’s Blessings Beyond Health, Wealth and Happiness. I also blog at BrianJones.com to help Christians live thoughtful and courageous lives. My tribe is the “Independent Christian Churches,” an evangelical network of 6,000 churches nationwide.
